SafalHost Terms of Service

We’ve updated Section 14 (Cancellations and Refunds), effective June 5, 2022, to clarify that purchases of certain add-on products such as SiteLock are non-refundable. On 6/17/2021, we revised Section 15 (Resource Usage) to clarify our policy on resource usage and Section 24 (WordPress Plugins) to include new terms applicable to users of WordPress Plugins. Please read the terms below.

These Terms of Service (the "Agreement") are an agreement between safalhost.com ("SafalHost", "us", "our", or the “Company”) and you ("User" or "you" or "your"). This Agreement sets forth the general terms and conditions of your use of the products and services made available by SafalHost and of the safalhost.com website (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the terms of this Agreement, you are not authorized to use or access the Services.


1. FREENOM Domains Not Allowed

We don’t allow freenom domain on our any hosting. If you still place an order with the freenom domain and use it for spamming purpose, your account will be suspended immediately and no refunds will be done.


2. Spamming

Sending unsolicited bulk and/or commercial messages over the Internet (known as “spamming”) is prohibited, regardless of whether or not it overloads a server or disrupts service to safalhost.com’s customers. SafalHost reserves the right to determine, in its sole and absolute discretion, what constitutes a violation of this provision.


3. Illegal Use

SafalHost services may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage, or distribution of any information, data, or material in violation of any applicable law or regulation or that may directly facilitate the violation of any particular law or regulation is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material; trademarks; trade secrets, or other intellectual property rights used without proper authorization; material that is obscene, defamatory, constitutes an illegal threat, or violates export control laws.


4. System and Network Abuse

The use of safalhost.com’s services to store, post, display, transmit, advertise, or otherwise make available any type of pornography is prohibited. safalhost.com, as required by law, will notify law enforcement agencies when it becomes aware of the presence of pornography on, or being transmitted through its services.


5. Pornography

Violations of system or network security are prohibited and may result in criminal and civil liability. Examples of system or network security violations include, without limitation, the following: unauthorized access to or use of data, systems, or networks; interference with service to any user, host, or network including, without limitation, mail bombing, flooding, deliberate attempts to overload a system and broadcast attacks; forging of any TCP-IP packet header or any part of the header information in an email or a newsgroup posting.


6. Backup Policy

Your use of the Services is at your sole risk. You agree to back up all of your User Content so that you can access and use it when needed.

If you purchase shared hosting, WordPress hosting, or cloud hosting services, SafalHost will provide backups for a duration of 7 days. In case you do not renew your services and need a backup after the renewal period, you must renew your services first. Once renewed, you will be able to create and download the backup yourself.

For users of reseller services, if you do not renew your services, SafalHost will retain your data for a period of 1 month. After 1 month, you will need to renew your services to request a backup. Providing the backup after the renewal period will be subject to our discretion and may incur a late fee.


SafalHost does not guarantee the availability of backups for accounts with lapsed or expired services. If a user requests a backup without renewing their service first, it will not be possible. After the renewal, the user can create and download their backup. Additionally, if services are renewed after the due date, a late fee will be charged to retain the backup during the lapsed period.


SafalHost provides backup services using JetBackup for your convenience; however, we cannot guarantee its reliability in case of sudden server crashes or technical issues. JetBackup creates encrypted backups that may not always be fully accessible in emergency situations. As such, we recommend all users to maintain their own manual backup at least once a week to ensure data safety.

Important: If you are using reseller services and do not renew your services within 1 month after expiration, your account and services will be terminated without notice. SafalHost will not be responsible for providing any backup after this termination. Therefore, we recommend renewing your services on time or creating a manual backup and canceling your services before termination.

Furthermore, if your account uses more than 3GB of storage, we recommend maintaining a manual backup of your data. In some cases, our system may not be able to create backups for files larger than 3GB. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a backup in such situations.


Note: SafalHost will only be responsible for maintaining the 7-day backup policy on servers that are actively running without technical faults. In the event of sudden technical issues, crashes, or unexpected problems, we encourage all customers to ensure their data safety by creating their own weekly backups.


7. Software/WebPanel/API Change

We don’t allow freenom domain on our any hosting. If you still place an order with the freenom domain and use it for spamming purpose, your account will be suspended immediately and no refunds will be done.


8. Refund and Anti-Fraud Policy

If a user provides fake details such as their full name, address, phone number, email address, or any other information when creating an account and purchases any services, they will not be eligible for a refund, nor will a refund be provided. Even if you correct these fake details later, it will be considered that you intended to misuse the services. As a result, your services may be suspended without notice. We comply with government regulations and do not promote any illegal activities. If you engage in such behavior, you will be solely responsible, not SafalHost. Users who provide accurate information will not face any issues. This policy is specifically aimed at spammers.

Whether it's yearly or monthly plans, users who fill in their correct details will be eligible for a refund within 7 days. Refunds are not available for domain registrations, regardless of whether you register for 1 year, 2 years, or any other duration. Shared hosting, WordPress hosting, cloud hosting, and reseller hosting are all eligible for a refund within 7 days. However, no refunds will be provided for **Reseller R0** and **Reseller R1** plans. For higher reseller plans, refunds can be requested within 7 days.


9. Viruses and Other Destructive Activities

Use of hosyindia.com’s services or equipment for creating or sending Internet viruses, worms, or Trojan horses, or for pinging, flooding, or mail bombing, or engaging in denial of service attacks is prohibited.


10. Account & Activities

SafalHost does not promote accounts created with fake details without informing and without refunding any services. Your account can also be deleted permanently. Please add company name, email, and phone number and verify your email so that you and I do not face any inconvenience.


11. Downgrading Yearly Hosting Plans

Downgrading from a yearly hosting plan to a monthly plan at the time of expiration is not possible. If your yearly plan expires and you wish to continue using our services, you will be required to renew for a minimum term of 3 months.


12. User Liability for Misuse

Users are solely responsible for the content hosted on our platform. Any misuse, illegal activities, or violation of these terms and conditions will result in the user being held accountable. SafalHost disclaims all liability for damages or legal consequences arising from the user's misuse of our services.


13. Client Behavior and Misuse

If any client engages in misbehavior, spamming, or any inappropriate activities with our 24/7 support team, SafalHost reserves the right to immediately suspend their domains, hosting services, websites, or any other work. Their account may also be permanently closed. Therefore, we request you to maintain proper conduct while using our services. We do not tolerate spamming, and any such actions will result in service termination. The client will be solely responsible for such actions, and SafalHost will not be involved in any liabilities arising from the misuse.


14. Phishing Pages Prohibited

SafalHost strictly prohibits hosting phishing pages, such as clones of shopping sites, credit card, debit card sites, or any other popular site clones. If you host such content, SafalHost reserves the right to immediately terminate your services without any refund. Additionally, SafalHost will not be responsible for any legal consequences arising from such actions. You are fully responsible for any misuse of your account.


15. Fair Usage Policy

At SafalHost, we are committed to providing our customers with hosting plans that include unlimited bandwidth and disk space for optimal convenience and flexibility. However, these resources must be used responsibly to ensure a stable and fair environment for all users.SafalHost offers unlimited bandwidth and disk space on certain hosting plans. However, you are expected to use these resources fairly. If your account causes excessive server load or resource consumption that affects other users, we may suspend or limit your account’s usage. Failure to comply with these fair usage guidelines may result in suspension or termination of your services.

Key Guidelines for Fair Usage:

  • Resource Allocation: While we offer unlimited resources, they are subject to our fair usage policy. This means you are free to use these resources as long as your usage does not disrupt or negatively impact the server's performance for other users. Examples of disruptive usage include:
    • Excessive CPU or memory consumption.
    • Running processes that cause server instability.
  • Server Load Management: If your account's activity leads to unusually high server load or resource consumption that affects the performance of other accounts on the server, we reserve the right to take corrective actions, including but not limited to:
    • Temporarily limiting your resource usage.
    • Notifying you to optimize your account's configuration or processes.
    • Permanently suspending your account if fair usage guidelines are repeatedly violated.
  • Monitoring and Enforcement: Our team continuously monitors server performance to ensure a balanced resource distribution across all accounts. If your account is flagged for exceeding normal usage thresholds, we will:
    • Inform you of the situation and provide suggestions to mitigate the issue.
    • Allow a reasonable time frame to address the concerns.
    • Take action, such as suspension or termination, if no corrective measures are taken or if misuse persists.
  • Prohibited Activities: Certain activities are strictly prohibited, as they can disrupt the server environment or violate our terms of service. These include, but are not limited to:
    • Hosting scripts or applications that overutilize server resources.
    • Using hosting services for activities such as cryptocurrency mining, file sharing, or video hosting beyond typical website usage.
    • Conducting operations that violate any laws or regulations.
  • Termination for Misuse: Failure to comply with our fair usage policy may result in the following:
    • Temporary or permanent suspension of your account.
    • Termination of services without a refund, especially in cases of repeated violations or intentional misuse.

17. Due Payment and Service Activation Policy

At SafalHost, services will only be reactivated upon full payment of any outstanding dues. If a customer’s service has been suspended due to non-payment and they request reactivation, full payment must be made first.


Please note:

1. Reactivating services without receiving full payment is not our responsibility.


2. Statements like "payment will be made later" are not acceptable.


3. Services will remain suspended and unavailable for use until the payment is completed.


4. Late payment may also incur additional late fees.
